About Cody

Pronouns: she/her

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #136349

Supervisor, Stephanie Bossy, LMFT 127411

I offer online sessions to individuals and partners of all genders and sexual orientations.

In partner therapy, it’s my ongoing intention to create a space for each of you to feel, and know, that your experience of things matters. And to help you build skills to both be heard and to hear your partner more deeply and empathically. Often when we don’t feel heard, seen, or cared for by our partners, we can feel frustrated, sad, hurt, confused, and lonely. I welcome all types of partners including romantic and sexual partners, friends, co-workers, and siblings who are committed to working on their relationship.

In individual therapy, my goal is to help you feel heard, seen, and supported in the ways you’re wanting. My ongoing intention is also to create space for you to be able to bring all parts of yourself, explore things at your pace, and support you in trusting yourself.

Our work together will be rooted in Nonviolent Communication, Gestalt therapy, attachment-based therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness. I’m also a big believer that humor and play can often heal and connect people — I sometimes invite those qualities into session when it’s appropriate.
